Asif Razzaq Senior Research Specialist, CAREC Institute
Asif Razzaq is a Senior Research Specialist at the CAREC Institute. He has a PhD in Economic System Analysis and Management from Dalian University of Technology, People's Republic of China. His research portfolio includes investment ecosystem, energy transition, and climate change. He is currently leading several research projects in the CAREC countries. Mr. Razzaq has also published numerous policy research reports and academic papers in reputable journals and is a highly cited researcher with more than 13,000 citations. He is also listed in the top 2% of researchers globally by Stanford University and Elsevier in 2023-2025 and high cited Chinese researcher. Previously, he worked in commercial and microfinance banks, primarily dealing with SME financing.
