Rana Hasan’s work focuses on industrial development, labor economics, urban economics, and poverty and inequality. He previously served as a director in ADB’s research department and as a fellow at the East-West Center in the United States. He has published extensively in leading economics and development journals and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi.
